Land of hearts and bread


Harvests, mountains’ wheat


Lands of abandonment with forgiveness


And Summer of sun and gentle heat


 


Land of brides and grooms with flowers


White shirts, with snow’s color


Fades, the love dies,


By the bomb that wasn’t stopped…


 


The hot blood flows


Red as rose Vermelho como uma rosa


And we feel Europe’s urgency


Shame on our hope…
