Recently a team of bird researchers is trying to teach a group of young ibis birds a migratory route from central Europe to Spain. The “mothers”, Katharina Huchler and Helena Wehner, use a small and ultralight plane to teach them. They travel in front of the birds; the birds follow them. This is very funny, and it shows that taking care of nature is clearly not a boring activity and it can be an adventure.    The following photo, with a fern, remembers us that even if the birds learn the new route, there should be a habitat where they will be able to live, at the destiny. However, together with the summer heat, floods, fires and some tragedies resulting from these events, remind us of the importance of preserving this house we call Planet Earth.
