Happy 2024!! A short story.

Happy new year! We wish you health, peace, and joy. Today we leave here a short story by by Gabriel Veiga (Brazil). “The Dream Home” After many hours inside a car, Josh, Andrew, Fred and Artie were worried they would spend the rest of their vacation in the middle of a road. They were trying to find a way to fix their broken vehicle. “Oh my God, there is always something happening. We try to come up with new things and stuff always happens”, said Artie, with a screwdriver in hand. “Relax a little, Artie. If Josh and Andrew can’t find the problem, we can go to a hotel I found. It is just a few minutes from here and we can get there on foot”, said Fred, as he showed Artie a picture of a hotel with a sign reading “Dream Home”. “So, Andrew and I think it is a problem with the engine. We need more time to fix it”, said Josh grabbing a funny and colorful drawing of a funny animal that was on the floor. “I was talking to Artie about a hotel nearby”, said Fred, showing the same picture to the b...

COP 28 and Two poems

Today we share some information about the conference COP28 at: https://unfccc.int/ This might be a very important oppotunity to fight climate change and nature's destruction. We hope so. Finally, it was possible to finalize the Anthology Nature 2022-2023. Two poems of the Anthology are shared today.   ”A Paradise in the Caribbean” , by Liselle P. (Trinidad and Tobago) Lay nestled in the Caribbean an island that’s surrounded by water that is so clear, it speaks to us as the fishes dance like mermaids, and the waves roars and crashes on rocks creating sounds of melodious harmony, with a welcoming spirit. “Buccoo Reef” in Tobago a tourism paradise with the coral reefs like hill tops where they dwell in all shapes and sizes. The view is magnificent from the glass bottom of the fishing boats that bring fresh fish to the shore. The best cold medicine is “Fish Broth” well-seasoned with all spices from the mother land. Just drink it like soup and enjoy the zesty taste, as the flavor mesmer...
